IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING OUR WORKSHOPS:-

Workshops are run at my home based studio in Royal Wootton Bassett. Spaces are only reserved once full payment has been received. Please email [email protected], text or call Rachel 07828 552610 to reserve your space and arrange payment. payments are not refundable, although with at least 48 hours notice payment can be utilised toward another workshop.Facilities - Sadly we do not currently have any wheelchair access to the premises and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.We offer free tea and coffee during your workshop.We have toilet facilities here!

Make a Gemstone tree of life Suncatcher

Cost £35 which includes materials

Date: Thursday 10th Oct 12.30-3.30pm

Projects: Create a tree of life Suncatcher. I will take you through each step from shaping and hammering the outside wire, to weaving and sculpting the branches, making the ornamental crystal dangle and hanging element.

Tools provided for use during the workshop 

Skill level: It is recommended that you complete the tree of life pendant workshop or have some wirework experience prior to doing this course.

Make a Wire coiled bracelet using the coiling gizmo.

Cost £15 which includes materials

Date: Wed 16th October 10-11.30am

Projects: Create a wirework bracelet using the coiling gizmo, which is a tool that is clamped to the table and allows you to make neat coils, using various sized mandrels. Its a clever device and you will produce a bracelet during the session. 

Tools & use of coiling gizmo providing  during the workshop 

Skill level: This is a good course for regular beaders and also suitable for beginners. 

Make a Beadwork pendant using seed beads and twin beads. 

Cost £20 which includes materials

Date: Thurs 17th October 12-2pm. 

Projects: Create this beautiful beadwork pendant, using a technique called bead weaving.  This is a type of jewellery making using needle and specialist beaders thread.  The beads used are a combination of small seed beads and Czech twin holed beads.

All relevant tools and equipment provided for use during the workshop.  There will also be a selection of colour choices with gold or silver plated chain. 

Skill level: This course is suitable for beginners.

    Make a wire wrapped orchid flower pendant

    Cost £45 which includes materials

    Date: Thurs 31st October 9.30am-12.30pm. 

    Projects: Create this beautiful wire pendant by learning weaving techniques and shaping. 

    Tools provided for your use during the workshop 

    Skill level: Prevous experience of working with wire recommended.

    Cost £40 which includes materials. 

    The workshop is spread over 2 sessions (the cost includes both) to allow time for the resin to set and dry.  In the 2nd session you will attach cord, leather or chain to some of your pendants. 

    Dates: Thurs 7th Nov 10-11am & 2nd part to collect/make necklace arranged to suit. 

    Projects: I will take you through all the steps to make your own resin pendants (approx 12 pendants), from mixing the appropriate resin and hardener and how to create your own unique pieces by adding colour pigments and embellishments, pressed flowers or gold leaf. 

    As the resin takes around 24 hours to set, the second session will be adding the pendants to cord/faux suede/leather. 

    Tools provided for use during the session. 

    Skill level: For complete beginners or existing beaders looking to explore a new jewellery medium. 

    Make a  glass beaded and Wire coiled bracelet using the coiling gizmo.

    Cost £20 which includes materials

    Date: Wed 13th November 12-2pm.
