This is a soft circular disc with numbers and slots at the sides, where you cords are secured.  You can use a variety of diffferent materials to make kumihimo, such as rattail, ribbon, wool and wire.  This disc does not come with a pattern, but you can find some free tutorials in my You Tube Channel.
